Description

The Systems Administrator will install new software releases and system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software-related problems to support our clients. The successful candidate will work independently with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues; will be security minded; and will have 5 or more years of experience with skills in Red Hat Linux, VMWare ESXi administration, Windows administration.

Contracts Manager

Description

Vadum is seeking a Contracts Manager responsible for the successful execution of all corporate contracts and subcontracts. The Contracts Manager will collaborate with Vadum’s extended leadership team (CEO, Director of Operations Management, VP of Program Management, Finance) in the management of all contract related actions for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary interface for both internal and external contract matters with company leadership, program managers, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Primarily responsible for contract lifecycle- including contract creation, negotiation and collaboration, review and approval, administration and execution, management and renewal, reporting and tracking, and closing.
  • Preparation of contracts, agreements, and modifications.
  • Analyze contract modifications and provide recommendations.
  • Review contract/subcontract estimates, incuding proposed materials, services costs, etc. for accuracy and Federal Acquisition Regulation based compliance.
  • Develop contract letters, subcontracts and other communications and notices.
  • Analyze contracts for compliance requirements.
  • Review and analyze RFP terms and conditions adn participate in proposal reviews.
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of project setup.
  • Provide management contractual rights and obligations for new and revised contracts.
  • Review Teaming and Non-Disclosure Agreements in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Partner with the VP of Program Management and the Business Area Program Managers to manage overall program execution, compliance, actively mitigate risks to the program and promptly resolve contractual issues that are impacting program performance.
  • Manage and actively engage with the government and industry contract adminstrators to resolve contract issues.
  • Establish best practices and standardize company processes for contracts management.
  • Lead contract related proposals and/or capture efforts as required and ensure timely and successful proposal

Firmware Engineer IV

Description

As a Firmware Engineer IV, you will play an active role in every phase of the FPGA development cycle, including the design, installation, and troubleshooting of the firmware used to design FPGA based hardware systems and their components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, implement, and maintain complex FPGA designs.
  • In depth knowledge and use of VHDL, Verilog, and System Verilog HDL languages.

Engineering Manager

Description

Vadum is seeking an Engineering Manager that will collaborate with peers to develop innovative solutions, tools and processes that will be leveraged across the company to drive growth. This position will be responsible for program solution development, planning and execution, talent development and innovation in a designated business area.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the schedules and projects assigned to team members.
  • Hires and trains direct reports.

Systems Engineer

Description

Vadum Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer that will be responsible for working closely with key technical team members to understand the technology underpinning core Vadum products, and business area leads to drive new opportunities and provide internal feedback obtained from the customer. Machine Learning Engineer

Description

Vadum Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer that will assist with the design and development of prototyping, concept design and analysis under direct (or limited) supervisor of a senior engineer. An additional goal of the position is to develop more advanced applied engineering skills as well.

Key Reponsibilities:

  • Design and develop high quality, testable and scalable software solutions within established timelines.
  • Actively involves other project stakeholders to ensure implementation satisfies functional requirements and is consistent with established R&D standards.
  • Participates in project scoping and scheduling; track progress of individual tasks and alerts stakeholders of issues blocking or preventing completion of task.
  • Ensures the quality of the code write through the development of automated tests (unit, performance, user interface).
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure integrity and cross-product consistency.
  • Works closely with testing by providing thorough reviews of the test plan and communicate when updates to the plan should be made to cover code changes related to enhancements, redesigns and/or bug fixes.
  • In collaboration with technical writers, authors appropriate level of design and technical documentation for proposals.
  • Works with multiple operating systems and anticipate technical anomalies and enhancements for various environments.
  • Perform unit testing of software, fix “bugs”, modify software design, as necessary.
  • Determines database compatibility and develops compatible code as appropriate.

Description

Vadum Inc. is seeking a Firmware Engineer that will play an active role in every phase of the FPGA development cycle, including the design, installation, and troubleshooting of the firmware used to design FPGA based hardware systems and their components.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of RF Systems, Radar, Electronic Warfare, or Wireless Communications, experiencing debugging FPGA designs using ILAs and experience testing FPGA designs on the bench using laboratory test equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain complex FPGA designs.
  • In depth knowledge and use of at least one VHDL, Verilog, and System Verilog HDL languages.
  • Experience and use of Xilinx Vivado FPGA design tools.

This position will play a leading role in developing statistical signal processing algorithms to analyze streaming sensor data for military applications; which requires creativity, initiative, analytical thinking and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective interactions with internal and external customers.

  • Prototype and implement various DSP processing chains and computational algorithms using multiple programming languages ( (MATLAB, Python, C/C++, etc.).
  • Independently define algorithm inputs/outputs and interaction of multiple algorithms to achieve desired output products.
  • Independently survey peer-reviewed journals for applicable algorithms to implement, prototype, or modify.
  • Participate in all phases of development life cycle (requirements, algorithm prototyping, evaluation, test, and optimization).
