Senior Digital Signal Processing Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing digital signal processing algorithms and systems that enhance our products and solutions. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, and analyze systems for the extraction of information from signal
sensors and also serve as Task Lead.
- Analyze all hardware requirements and objectives and ensure optimization of all
algorithms and design all specifications for all digital processes and ensure
compliance to all guidance for implementation.
- Perform and provide technical support to all tests for hardware and prepare reports
to be submitted to all board design.
- Communicate results in briefings and written material to team, the customer and
management.
- Plan and perform analytical and engineering research, design development,
participate in testing and other technical assignments.
- Work in collaboration with product management, design, internal and external
cross-functional teams.• Document all project requirements and ensure adherence to all technical schedule
requirements and analyze all test results for same and manage all external
publications for same.
- Participate in full product life cycle, from conception and architecture to user
experience, and everything in between.
- Design and recommend improvements to all digital signal processes and
recommend improvements if required and perform tests on all software for systems
and draft all specifications for all test procedures.
- Evaluate all designs and prepare all projects and analyze all hardware and software
requirements for all processes and administer all projects.
- Develop proposals and support technology and business roadmap activities.
- Design and develop signal processing and machine learning algorithms in computer
vision, acoustic, and RF/radar domains.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Must possess and maintain a Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex signaling systems.
- Sound machine learning capabilities and math skills.
- Strict attention to detail and dedication to problem solving.
- Time management and leadership skills.

Electronic Warfare Technical Program Manager
We are seeking an Electronic Warfare (EW) Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the development, integration, and deployment of complex EW systems, balancing technical requirements with cost, schedule, and performance targets.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and execute program plans with engineering leadership that is consistent with program budget, requirements, deliverables and aligns with overall business strategy.
- Manage overall program execution, actively mitigate risks to the program and promptly resolve issues that are impacting program performance.
- Serve as the primary customer interface and ensure contract deliverables are delivered on time.
- Help grow the business by defining a growth/transition strategy for each assigned program; manage and actively engage with the customer base to drive achievement of the plan.
- Present formal and informal project status/plan briefings to the customer and executive leadership through oral and written communications.
- Help mentor the technical team and lead select efforts to standardize best practices across the Company.
- Actively participate in program definition and capture for existing and new customers.
- Lead proposal and/or capture efforts as assigned and ensure timely and successful delivery.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience in technical leadership or program management in a position for defense R&D software programs.
- Previous experience in Electronic Warfare, RF engineering, or signal processing.
- Experience in supervising personnel, technology assessment, system design, system analysis, managing multiple technical programs including budgetary responsibility, planning and estimating work loading requirements, acquisition planning, communication and interfacing with government customers.
- Ability to engage key client stakeholders to identify needs and discuss Vadum capabilities and services.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary opportunity capture team in a matrixed organization with a collaborative and team-centric culture.

Electronic Warfare Systems Architect
We are seeking a visionary Electronic Warfare Systems Architect to lead the conceptualization, design, and implementation of advanced RF and digital processing systems. As the technical lead, you will bridge the gap between mission requirements and hardware/software implementation, driving the technical roadmap for our next-generation EW and radar capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

System Architecture & Technical Leadership

- Define end-to-end radar and EW system architectures, from RF front end and digitalization through digital processing, exploitation, and user outputs.

- Decompose mission requirements into system-level specifications and performance allocations.

- Lead architecture trade studies considering performance, latency, SWaP, compute resources, and scalability.

- Establish technical roadmaps for signal processing and exploitation capabilities.

- Serve as technical lead or chief engineer on radar/EW programs.

- Mentor and guide engineering teams in architectural best practices and technical rigor.


Radar & Electronic Warfare Signal Processing

- Architect and oversee development of advanced signal processing techniques including:

-- Pulse compression and Doppler processing
-- Detection and CFAR algorithms
-- Beamforming and array processing
-- Target tracking and state estimation
-- Emitter detection, classification, and geolocation

- Guide the integration of machine learning techniques for RF signal classification and sensor exploitation.

- Ensure algorithm designs are robust, testable, and suitable for real-time or near-real-time deployment.

Hardware/Software Integration

- Align algorithm development with hardware constraints (FPGA, GPU, CPU, embedded systems).

- Define digital signal processing requirements and data flows across system interfaces.

- Support integration, validation, and performance verification efforts.

- Review and approve technical designs, interface control documents, and verification plans.

Customer & Program Engagement

- Present technical approaches and results to internal leadership and government customers.

- Contribute to proposals, technical volumes, and white papers.

- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.

- Support long-term technology and product roadmap planning.

REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in radar or electronic warfare systems.
- Demonstrated experience architecting complex sensing or RF exploitation systems.
- Deep expertise in radar signal processing, including detection, estimation, tracking, and classification.
- Experience designing systems under real-time or embedded constraints.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for algorithm development and system integration.
- Experience developing and validating algorithms in MATLAB.
- Familiarity with FPGA, GPU, embedded systems, or high-performance computing architectures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience transitioning algorithms from MATLAB/Python prototypes to optimized C++ implementations.
- Experience with real-time Linux or embedded environments.
- Experience applying machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) to RF data.
- Prior technical leadership, Chief Engineer, or Principal Engineer experience.
- Experience with airborne, ground-base, maritime, or passive radar systems.
- Experience with electronic support (ESM) or electronic attack (EA) systems.
